The Pinellas County Sheriff?s Office is gauging interest in offering a one-day Sheriff?s Citizens Academy for Spanish Speakers. The proposed program would be offered this summer for Spanish-speaking residents in the county?18 years and older.
The program would be based upon the current Sheriff?s Citizens Academy (www.pscoweb.com/program-services/citizens-academy) and would be presented by Spanish speaking members of the community.
Topics would include Patrol Operations, Special Operations, Defensive Tactics,
Spanish for Law Enforcement Program, and a building tour. Breakfast and lunch
