Conversation Class enjoy tossing a beach
ball while learning about different foods.

Each color section of the ball has a Post-it attached with the name of a different food category, such as vegetables, seafood, dairy product, etc. The student who catches the ball looks at the food category in the section facing him or her. The student thinks of a food that fits that category and says a sentence such as “I like broccoli” or “I don’t like shrimp.” Then the student tosses the ball to someone else. The game continues until everyone has had a turn.
