Student’s first language: French/Haitian Creole Learning materials:
- ?English for Everyday Activities ? A Picture Process,? by Lawrence J. Zwier
- ?Fast Track Reading System,? by the Sharon Jaskula ? Jacksonville Public Library
Comments: C___ is very enthused about learning English.? In our second lesson, when I did the review of the first lesson, she had studied and knew every single item (all the numbers, common English phrases, etc.) She is in the EP (Early Production) stage of learning English ? ?has limited understanding and can speak in two or three word phrases.?? She is a Visual & Kinesthetic Learner, so I am making extensive use of the white board, writing exercises and “English for Everyday Use” which is a picture process language tool.? Also, I am using Jacksonville Public Library “Fast Track” phonics lessons which utilize pictures too.
